You won't get credit, but believe it or not, MIT puts *many* of their courses online for free.

Not classes for college credit, but Barnes & Noble offered fun online classes a while back. I took one on astrology once. I just checked, and they aren't really doing that much anymore. You can join their book club discussions, that's it.

It's my understanding that Princeton is now putting classes online for free.

I'm going to guess NO. College is expensive. Anyone that says you can go to college for free is scamming you.

If you go to http://ocw.mit.edu/index.html MIT offers their entire curriculum on line and it's all free
