When I got married, I had already been living on my own for over 2 years. I didn't really have any worries other than "will his family like me?" See, I met my husband while we wereboth stationed in England. We dated for about a year and got married over there as well. It was cheaper, easier, and better for us that way. I didn't meet his family til a year and 2 months later when we tok our daughter (6 months old at that point) home to visit for the holiday season. And believe me, I was nervous as all get out when I finally met them.

I think the only other worry I could have possibly had would have been Where will we live, since my hubby lived in a tiny one room apartment, so we had to go house hunting together.

Been married almost 5 years next month too in case you were wondering.

How many children does he want? Does he earn enough money to support me and any children that come along? Is he a nice man? Does he love his fellow man (to help people out when they need help)?
