He's been using drugs secretly and proudly for a complete year, so that nobody even his parents don't know about it...Most of the time he looks just normal...He's having kind of hallucinations and many side effects...He has a question, how can he control himself mentally to stop using it for 48 hours ???

tell him that he cannot fall vicitim to addiction and that he is so much stronger than that. if he can't talk himself out of it - at least you can try to.

he's been doing it so long that his mind makes him feel that he needs it just to be routine and normal... rehab and all that bs is useless... it's based on the person... honestly u ask those people in rehab how bad they wanna do what they did again and gaurantee u 100% will say they would die to do it again...

u just need to take him out and do some fun stuff and set his mind straight.... his mind thinks that the only way to have fun is to get high again and now look at the side-effects it has caused... but it's never too late.... just keep him busy if u really wanna help like go out and watch a movie with friends or whatever to keep his mind off of it and once he realizes that he can be normal without them then he'll be good.... simple as that...

the people in rehab don't wanna quit they just have no where else to go... sad but true

This is very simply, tell your 'FREIND" to simply not ingest this substance for a period of time 48 hours. It sounds like I am being sarcastic but I am not. Your friend must show a little self control which is part of being an adult.

yeah, right. It's called withdrawl, there is no control. Why just for 48hrs. That would be his chance to quit. If there is something he has to do in that time, then he better stop now, so he can get his head straight. Otherwise, he's going to feel like crap during.

Tell him you will not be his friend until he stops, and provide him with the phone number for a crisis line in your area.
