-Adelaide University (Adelaide)
-Flinders University (Adelaide)
-University of South Australia (Adelaide)
-University of New South Wales (Sydney)
-Monash University (Melbourne)
-James Cook University (Cairns)
-Charles Darwin University (Darwin)

The first five i mentioned are in big cities, syd and melb being metropolitans and adelaide being a pleasant medium-sized city. go to cairns or darwin to experience a more outbach tropical australia setting... quality of education is about the same and you also have opportunities to travel down south for projects.
