My brother is a phone repairman, (Major company technician). He is constantly cheating on his wife. When I laid into him the other day about being faithful to his wife, he said that every telephone guy he knows gets nooky on the side. Anyone else know this to be true?

He probably made that up or he's trying to convice himself that it's true so he won't have to feel guilty.

I'm sure there might be other people who do it because it's just so easy, but a telephone repair guy came into my house the other day and I was REALLY suggestive and he didn't do anything. And ok, I'm not Pamela Anderson or Angelina Jolie, but I'm... doable. I was wearing practically nothing but make-up and there was nobody home! And yet, he was extremely professional.

There's still some good men left in the world, don't let him tell you otherwise. =)

I also work at a Major Telephone co and I can tell you that a very high percentage of the people that work here have cheat on their spouses, and that is just the ones that admit or talk about it. Take into account the ones who try to keep it secret and the percentage is probably extremely high I would say around 85-90% I myself have had affairs with quite a number of co-workers over the years so I know that it's not just talk.

I don't know that every telephone guy your brother knows to be getting nooky on the side, but then I don't know your brother.

I had a telephone guy tell me that HIS brother got lots of nooky on the side, but then he (the brother) was a musician in Las Vegas. I don't get any on the side, but then I don't have a brother. Oh brother, where am I going with this......two points?

It's often the butt of all jokes because we all know that mailmen, ups men and phone workers have access to single housewives all day long. However, it's doubtful that anyone really acts on it. We aren't living in a TV sitcom. Your brother is just using his profession as an excuse to be a jerk. Teach him about Karma the hard way...tell him his wife was visited by the ups man and he was at her house longer than he should have been.

I have close relations with several people who work for major telephone companies...and to answer your question...MANY, MAN, MANY phone company employees cheat. I've been to many "Phone parties" and it's nothing more than a big drunken adultery party. Of course not ALL cheat. But a very high number does.

I had an experience with that a few yrs ago. This guy was really coming on to me. He made it obvious and left the door wide open for me to respond. Luckily, my neighbor came over at that time with her kids and mine and saved my from having to throw him out. I don't know about all of these guys but, he talked about a few of them. It all started because he asked me where I went to school and if I knew so and so. It happened I did and he was saying what a lover boy this guy was. Disgusting. He wasn't even cute. I should have said, "In your dreams Bubba". Ha,ha!

Your brother is just trying to justify his cheating by saying that everyone does it. It's not true, there are many and I would say most telephone repairmen who are leading faithful lives. Your brother is a schmuk.

You cannot just put it on telephone men. To answer your question. NO!
If a man or woman is going to cheat, then they will figure a way to do it, regardless of their income or job.

Didn't you learn in school that a question phrased with the word ALL is false? So, I go with false. I don't believe ALL linemen are cheaters nor do I believe all cheaters are linemen.
