i assume you're working with a laptop?
you should probably go about buying yourself a microphone. they aren't too expensive maybe $10.
then you download WavePad, it's free so there's no worries there. connect the microphone to your computer and then hit record. it should record for as long as you want it to.
i've included a link for the WavePad download. i myself use it and i can say that it's spyware/malware/virus free.

I agree with pappy but i must warn you that sound recorder only records 1 minute at a time, so you would need to record for 30 minutes pressing record after each minute, then rewind it and press record when your ready to record your speech.

What is the source of the audio? If it is your mic, no problem, just go to Start / Programs / Accessories / Entertainment / Sound Recorder and do it.
If the source is anything else, re-post your question with some information to go on.

in that use 'record narration'
and save it
