I mean, just look at all the quality games available
Halo/Halo 2
Knights Of The Old Republic
Fable
Splinter Cell
Morrowind
Grand Theft Auto
Jade Empire
Half - Life 2
Doom 3
Timesplitters
Far Cry
Deus Ex
Many of the games which i have mentioned aren't available on PS2 , and i can't even think of any particularly good games on the PS2 which the Xbox doesn't have.
Anyone agree ?

That is a really short list considering that the PS2 can play thousands of games when you combine its library with that of the PSX. Xbox has a few good games, but in the long run, it didnt stand a chance against the PS2

I am an Xbox fan. I do not agree with this list though. Halo and Halo 2 have definitely made the Xbox very popular. But you list Grand Theft Auto in your list. The Grand Theft Auto series was first published for the PS2. It only came out for the Xbox later on. Stating that one system is better than the other is a matter of opinion. There are plenty of great games for the PS2 such as SOCOM and the Final Fantasy series, just to name a few. Maybe the PS3 will give the Xbox 360 a run for it's money when it releases.

You are right, they are indeed very good games. But the Playstation still has many many better ones.
Also, you didn't mention Oddworld: Strangers Wrath on that list. Shame on you sir!!!
Oh and by the way, Timesplitters, Deus Ex, Grand Theft Auto and Splinter Cell are also on the Playstation 2 and they were realeased on it before the Xbox.

I agree. PS just puts out a ton of mediocre games and Xbox puts out quality. You didn't mention that the Oddworld series is exclusive and that Rare makes games exclusively for Xbox. The only game that I liked on PS2 is God of War (probably would have been better on Xbox).

I can't believe you left Ninja Gaiden, Rallisport Challenge 1 and 2, Project Gotham 1 and 2, House of the Dead 3, and Kotor 2 off your list! I am sure there are more even still.

But they DONT have a wide selection yet ... it sucks to go to the store and only see 10 or 15 games. It makes it hard especially since I'm a girl and I'm real picky with my games.
