If you got it at a purse party, then it's fake. They sell only generic versions at those parties. But they are still really nice. Just don't tell anyone where you got it because they won't know the difference.

All real Kate Spade purses have a very hard-to-see "Kate Spade" inside the purse, at the bottom.
You need a bright light to see it, and often a magnifying glass.

the easiest way to tell BY FAR is to see if there is a made in china tag anywhere on the purse

here are some tell tale signs of a fake
-label (if there is one) is poorly stitched in
-material isnt in very good condition or quality
-purse isnt in very good condition, poorly made
-logo is on at an angle (wonky)
