Yes, we celebrated it.. we just kind of done a "date night". He didn't get me anything and I didn't get him anything. We told each other Happy 6 mth anniversary"

6 months is not an anniversary.

You can celebrate on a monthly basis if you want to, but don't call it "anniversary", 'anni' comes from 'annual'.

I recommend to give as a gift, a letter to your partner, telling your feelings.

It's any wonder people dread their anniversary. Six month? Then do you have a one year and then an 18 month? Then a two year and a 30 month? This is silly.
