i had a recorder before but the quality was bad especially when it got to the loud and high bits for the sapranos. whats a good recorder for loud sounds with crystal clear quality. the recorder should be small for the pocket or such.

The new digital camcorders are offering an integrated microphone of 5.1 dolby sorround audio, I personally have tested and the sound quality is outstanding, you need to keep all filters off and record, so you get the appropiate sound reverberation of a church chorus, I have no idea if you can have just a sound recorder with this "dolby" feature integrated, but if you get those cameras I am sure that you will be able to capture that crystal clear you need...
