Yes! She asked a question!
I think you're onto something here. It isn't common knowledge that there are, in fact, branches of the bovine and ovine mafia. They are constantly trying to wipe each other out, and the sheep have the edge as they only have to remove the B to dominate the farm environment.

Back in the late fifties and early sixties during the 'Field Wars' there were a lot of both sheep and cow attacks. Although there was never an actual war, terrorist cells representing both sides of the struggle caused many casualties. By 1965 a peacekeeping force of farmers and farmer's wives were sent in and negotiations were held resulting in the modern 'sheep and cow' fields we see today. However, a cow will still not share a field with a pig. And nobody minds horses.

No. It was the ranchers and herders that locked horns.
The issues were free-grazing (barbed wire fences were introduced for sheep) and differences in the way the animals eat. Cows leave stubble that grows back quickly while sheep graze down to the ground.

Yes, and it's quite alarming too, as the war between sheep and cows is getting more and more grim. Last rumour I heard is the sheep are plotting with Al Qaida. And everybody knows how much muslim fundamentalists love sheep...

I doubt it very much but I heard an old adage that Monkeys and Dogs can never be Friends ..... There's probably more truth in that.
