the guy got me pregnant and was all excited about it until about the 5th month then one of his friends started to come around a lot and was telling the father of my child a bunch of things that werent true and he broke up with me. Leaving me with his child to care for and a broken heart.

sweetie listen if your man would listen to his friends over you , you dont need him but if there is truly love there then you need to do some serious talking and make him believe in you again ..trust you and its all about action if you want to be together..but please not just because of the baby because it will never work

I know it's hard to just give up when someone walks away form U... but if he is willing to listen to other people and not trust in you enough to work through things (especially with a baby on the way) then he was probably just looking for an easy way out of his respoonsibilities. Sounds like he's the type that wouldn't be much of a role model anyway if he can't work through rumors. I would just give him his space and don't appear needy.... he'll come around and hopefully you'll want him when he does. Good luck.

You can't "get him back". You can:

1- put the baby up for adoption
2- make him take a paternity test to insure the baby is his, then put his name on the birth certificate and then hold him responsible for child support
3- make better choices concerning potential partners
4- use more than one type birth control in the future ( condom[always] and pill, condom[always] and sponge, etc)

No one can "make" someone come back to a relationship. But.. you can hold someone responsible for their actions - in this case supporting their child.

you may also think about having a discussion in the future with your partners as to your viewpoints on pregnancy and what would happen if you did get knocked up. Most guys would steer clear of having sex with someone on a casual basis (when they are still just a b/f) who would go through with the pregnancy.

Realistically, it's not likely to work out. However, if you want to give it the best shot, sit down with him and talk. Put everything out, find out what his friend said and tell your side. If he was into it for five months, it sounds like he was scared(rightfully so, it's normal for anyone to be scared) and his friend said something. Give the guy a chance before you chalk him up to a deadbeat loser.
