Hello, no this will not make things hard on you, just let your doctor know that you have thyroid problem and they will do LOTS of blood work to make sure that they are in check, I know, because, I just went through it. My son was born very healthy. My doctor was great, just make sure you communicate with all your doctors, they will guide you through it all. Congrats and Good Luck!!!

I have hypothyroidism, and had during my pregnancy. What does your doctor say? I had no trouble, I just took my medication regularly, ate healthy, and had regular check-ups with my OB. You did not have this problem until you became pregnant, or you just did not know you have hypothyroidism? Consult you OB, s/he will give you the best advice.

I would really have to say probably not, but it does need to be discussed with your care provider. As it will make you more tired during your pregnancy and they will wan to make sure you are gain weight okay and your iron levels are sufficient. Good Luck.
