Even if it is a quote from a book, you asked the question here as if you wanted to know the answer for yourself. So, I'd say no, you can't, or shouldn't, stamp (stomp?) on top of the bus .. lol ...

off course you can the only thing is you will get thrown off. but i don't think it is the best way to get off a bus. they will tell you not to stamp(stomp) but who's gonna listen?
