Remember all the emails about not buying gas from Exxon and BP and CITGO that were floating around during the summer? and how we were all gonna make a difference and bring the oil companies to their knees? lmao!!! 95% of us are slaves to the pump and that won't change...yes, i will still buy gas from CITGO as long as their prices are the lowest...if someone else has lower prices then I'll buy from them.....Chavez is an idiot and he let the world know it..but @ the same time he is entitled to his opinion of us just like we are of him....most of the world does not like us, and we should really begin to start asking ourselves why...

I'm sure the people of Venezuela are fine. However, Hugo Chavez is going to hurt them, not help them. I won't purchase gas or other items, such as clothes that come from there until things change for the better. Only the Venezuelan people can make that happen. One Catastrophe in that country and they'd be looking to the USA for help. Much the same as the rest of the world does. Even the ones that profess to hate us.

I thought about it until I heard that the owners of Citgo are putting a ton of $ into a program to help low income americans with their home gas bills.

You can bet your life I will never buy CITGO gas. Yesterday I needed to fill up my car and two 5 gal. gas cans. A CITGO station was selling gas for $2.15 per gal. and I passed it up for the $2.29 per gallon although I am very thrifty.
I am outraged about Chevez!

If we researched the sources of oil and the owners of the petrochemical industry we would all be riding bicycles. Taking the plastic out of the bicycles which comes from petrochemical production our alternative would be horses.
