Well, if this question is related to marriage and divorce, it is the most unusual one I have come across.

The only way I can relate to the terms in this context, is when you try to monitor the movements of your partner(because you suspect him/her), control his/her movement(by being bossy) and in the end track his/her movements (by using the services of a detective agency)
Needless to say, if you have reached this position in your marriage, it is time for divorce
