It's not overly expensive, but not cheap. Obviously the bigger the piece and the more intricate the design, the more expensive it gets. For example, a nice bracelet or necklace might be between 20 - 50, while a crystal object could go up to hundreds.
But if you found it on the floor, chances are it's not worth much, but take it into a store (i don't where you are in the world, but there's a few stores in central london) and ask them to value it.

I make beaded jewelry as a hobby, so I work with swarovski crystals from time to time. If I could see a picture, I might be able to give you a rough estimate...

Depending on which one it is it could be worth hundreds of dollars. How do you know it's a swarovski?

I love this stuff!
I have lots of it! :-) Its is cheaper to buy in the USA! But over here in the shops some pieces are cheap some are expensive it depends what exactly you want to buy. Neckalaces vary from little as £30 odd pounds to £100's and cut pieces eg. Animals, flowers etc again are the same sort of prices

Not as much as diamonds, but well cut ones in good jewellery (as most swarovski are) usually fetch a bit of a price.

Yes it is. It's cheaper than diamonds of course but more expensive than fancy crystal bracelets.

I suggest you take it to your local police station as it may have great sentimental value to the owner who will be delighted to get it back. In the UK if it's not claimed within 3 months you get to keep it. I handed in a watch I found on the pavement and the owner came round with a box of chocs to say thank you.
