I forgot how to do this please help

Sure, I can solve this algebra problem.

But if I do, it won't help you learn anything.

Either get a paid tutor, or go see your teacher.

Or, struggle through until you see the solution.

Sir:

I think you have made an error in presenting the problem.
What you have shown us looks like a single equation in two unknowns which cannot be solved as such...

Solving for two unknowns requires two equations.

Please recheck the way you typed it...

Given that it is exactly correct as typed, it reduces to

(-x/3u) + (7x/2u) = - 3

(-2x + 21x) / 6u = -3

19x/6u = -3

19x/u = -18

And tht is as far as I can go with it because of the lack
of a second exuation showing the relationship between
"x" and "u" .
