i broke up with him because i didnt want to go to a different college than him and end up cheating. i wanted to see if there is anyone else that id rather be with besides him. although i have i new boyfriend i feel as though that theres no one else in the world that i would rather be with.

YOu need to follow your heart on this one. If you love your ex and want to be with him, be honest with the current bf and break things off. It's not fair to the current guy if you're having feelings for the ex. So in this case, save the current guy a harder break up later and do it now.

OK.. you have an ex- for whatever reason. I am assuming that reason is because at some point a decision was made by someone that you two just couldn't make things work and it was best if you both went your own way. Usually this type of thing does not happen at gunpoint so you two would have had to have some sort of discussion about this (or yelling, crying, screaming, whatever).

so I don't get how you could still have feelings for him and he proposing to you when you are still in the "ex" status. From everything you have said, it seems like he is the one that initiated the break up as you are still "IN love with him". So... you have to ask yourself this question.

Is this for real or is he just jealous that you have "moved on" and he has not (even though he most likely had someone else in mind when he broke up with you). You need to be sure that this offer in genuine and not some ploy to destroy you current relationship.

Then... you need to ask yourself - why am I maintaining any type of active relationship with my "ex" when I'm in another relationship. That's just asking for trouble. If I was your boyfriend (well besides the whole sex change thing.. but you get my meaning) I would be pissed!!!! i would expect you to not have any other active relationships with any other guys once we because "b/f & g/f". If not.. then we are just casually dating with no expecrtations.

Once you have figured all this out then you need to let both guys know what you plan on doing. My guess is that when this is all said and done.. you will be without either of them - the ex will drop you once he has gotten you out of your "relationship" and since you threw the new guy overboard for your ex he will be gone.. that will leave you all alone and without either.

Wait a minute, girlfriend. You have to consider why you are not with that first one and he is your Ex. Did he cheat on you, did he hurt your feelings, you might be throwing away a really good guy. Give it time to blossom. If you really are in love with your ex, then maybe he will straighten up, or just want his cake and eat it. Get you back, and do whatever it was he did last time. You need to think this over first, and don't just jump, make sure you are not throwing away someone that is better inside than the ex. I can tell you have feelings for him, the one you are with, so think about it. You said you love you ex-boyfriend with all your heart, that doesn't sound earth shaking, like I am passionately in love with my ex, and can't live without him, etc. If you really want to be back with him, that is your choice. Date and tell your present boyfriend you need to make this decision without your relationship, to think it out.

If you still love your ex but you are with someone else then tell him you need more time to think and follow your heart. If he loves you and really want to have you then he will wait for you. Think about it and make up your own decision. Follow your heart to find who will give you happiness.
