and think they can do what they want, when they want. I have told my bf of 2 years that I don't want anyone eles but him, and that I wasn't going anywhere.. now it seems like since he knows this he always wants to hang out with this one male friend of his.. play his xbox and ignore me or play online poker. He only stays with me once a night and thats on Sat nights.. I go with him while he shoots pool for his pool league, and when we go places his friend always has to go.. it's like I can't get any time with him by myself. Should I just start hangin out with my friends more and not tell him where i'm going,, or should I not call him and let him call me.. I love him with all my heart and I trust him.. I know he's not cheatin but a little time would be nice with him..

sounds like my boyfriend of two and half years, sucks i know, he has two kids, and i see them more then he does, he works third shift, and when he gets off of work he goes out with his friends, then comes home and goes to sleep, then wakes up and plays the xbox, or poker, his friends spend more time with him then me or the kids do, it's not got better for me, it actually is making a relationship go bad, honey go out with your friends, and don't be home when he is home, and tell him to spend more time with you, hopefully it will work for you, good luck, and remember your not alone! best wishes

I don't think what you have described is him getting to comfy as much as it is him possibly taking advantage of the relationship and the fact that you aren't going anywhere. I do think you should start going out more BUT not to get back at him, but to have other friendships and places to hang out outside of your boyfriend. I don't think you should play the he's going out with friends so I'll do the same game, because when you introduce games into a relationship someone always gets hurt.

Be honest, let him know you want to spend MORE time with him and understand that he enjoys time with friends and his Xbox (my hubby is an xboxer too...lol). Perhaps you all can find a happy in between where you spend time with friends and yet make special quality time for eachother.

I wish you the best!

Like I have said in many similar questions, he thinks the mystery and challenge are gone. You said it yourself, he knows you are not going anywhere, you will be there when he is ready to spend time with you. The alpha dog needs to know that you have slipped out of the cage and he will come a lookin'. Don't do anything to make him doubt you, just do not be so available for him. Be busy on your next Saturday night, have a girls night at a girlfriends house, don't call him but maybe one tenth what you do now. Get the mystery and challenge back and his friends will all the sudden not be so important...

Well Jen. . . first of all you need to take some English lessons! Your language skills (and I use that term loosely) are horrible at best. Now . . .as far as your boyfriend goes. . . . he sounds like a total jack off! Sitting in a bar playing pool. . . . playing video games all the time. . . . hanging out with his favorite guy friend. . . . sounds like you are dating a ten year old! Any guy that would rather play with his friend and X box instead of you and your box is a child! Drop him like a bad habbit and find a REAL MAN!!

That is called taking advantage of you. He walks all over you because he realized that he can do it six days a week and still get into bed with you on the seventh. You are not in a relationship - you are just a conveniently scheduled sex toy.

Girl, like I tell everyone, don't make yourself avaliable ALL the time. Let him know you are busy too. Don't center your whole life around a man. Like the person before me said, men like mystery. He knows he has you by the balls. Let him wonder a little bit. The biggest mistake women make is being too available. Men want women who are secure of themselves and their relationships otherwise they go elsewhere if they know they can get their cake and eat it too...good luck hun.

I think he should spend more quality time with you, I honestly think you deserve better, someone who will enjoy spending time with you and doing things with you. all the time, not just a few times a week.

He doesn't sound like a real deep sort of guy. Are you sure he's worth it? Love is like anything else - you can't waste your time.
