My opinion is that the "bosses" are just cheap, uncaring and unfair. They see 2 paychecks going into the same household so feel justified in saving money for the company. Best advise I can offer is for him to seek another job. It is not like the two of you have your own company and are working together. Both of you are at the bosses mercy and it is causing conflict in the marriage. Have him get another job, make more money and save the household conflict.

Your husband needs to stick up for himself. I work with my husband and the same I work in the office and he is a maintenance man. I kept on harrassing him until he asked for a raise cause I see what everyone else makes. But I made sure he did it himself and finally he did. Don't talk to anyone at work about your hubby cause it will get back to him. Have him look for another job if need be maybe when he tells his boss he is leaving they will offer him a raise.
