According to FBI statistics, more than 16,000 Americans are murdered each year, by other Americans. So, from 2000 to 2005, that would be more than 80,000 people. From what I can learn from the news, less than 3,000 have died in terrorist attacks.

Violent crime at home is by far the most dangerous situation for the average American. It is noble that we want to show the world how great a country we are but the murder rate sits there mocking our every attempt at virtue.

The problem with your logic is that the American criminal acts alone or in a very small group to acquire money through violent crime. The terrorist acts in large organized numbers to plot massive deaths for no reason other than to kill. Most criminals try not to hurt or kill people, terrorists have no other goal.
I fear neither, since I have bigger guns than they do.

Americans killing Americans
More Americans were killed in Washington DC by other Americans in the past six years than were killed in Iran since the start of the war.
The current administration scares me more.

Your figure does not include another group of American that kill others on our highways & roads Bad drivers etc!Poverty kills too however there maybe some distortion in death reporting the people that are homeless dying in USA!

americans actually kill themselves more then terroists do,but that is actualy just normal.murders in your own country and violence is a normal thing and every country gets that.but the thing is weather more americans kill more americans is a differnt thing because you have the police to fight them when you have people attacking them from other countrys you have the millatry to fight them.
