I personally wouldnt take the pill injection, it hasnt been around for long enough to see the long term effects. Some pills do affect your weight tho, so you just have to be careful if it bothers you

Different types of pills give different "side affects". Some of them make you moody, some make you break out, and obviously some make you gain weight. Some are really good for controlling mood swings, and acne as well.
Talk to your doctor about what your experiencing and what you want, and they will help you to experiment with different brands until you find the one you like.
Your weight will fluctuate normally throughout the month anyway - it may be bloating the week before your period is due.
The injection is quite risky. I looked at it when i started going on the pill, but decided against it. It works the same as a pill - releasing hormones gradually into your system. However, the injection is the worst type of pill you can get - it actually causes mood swings, bloating, breakouts, and doesn't actually regulate your period like normal pills do.
You still get your period, so you will know if you get pregnant, but if i were you i would stick with the pill.

The injection is always trouble and the injection will make you fat where as the pill just makes you have a little water weight. If you are having no problems on the pills then just stay on it. You're fine.

I dont know alot about the injection however a friend of mine tried it and she severely put on weight so much so she had it removed but like i say everyone reacts differently why not speak to your gp who may be able to help you with this. Best of luck sweetie!

quite a few birth control pills can cause you to gain weight. If it is excessive talk to your doctor. I think you should also talk to your doctor about the risks of the injection so you will be well informed to make a decision. Good luck.

Weight gain is common.
As the pill suits you so well why not just stay on it. Injections work well but I have heard lots of stories of women finding it difficult to concieve once coming off it.

You should choose the injection forms they are easy and effective, but watch out for possible side effects like bleeding and weight gains.

My wife has taken the shot for quite a while. They give her a pregnancy test before each shot. Also, weight gain is a recognized side-effect of the pill.
