Where did you get your statistics I really want to know. Is it a national statistic, government statistic, or your own. Because you are ABSOLUTELY WRONG. I have been married to my husband for 5 years and would NEVER cheat on him. Get the proper statistics before you go asking any questions.

I think its not only limited to men. I honestly think we live in a time when people focus more on their own personal needs instead of needs for others around. You can see this is in many people today. We are constantly told there is somthing better out there. A new car this year but a better one next year. I nice T.V but a bigger one with better picture next year. So you see we adapt this way of thinking to our lives and become relentless and unforgiving to the people around us. We start to feel that their is something better around the next corner. Then we start to feel this way about our families. Oh, her husband has money or his wife is hot and she can cook. Geesh! Where did you get THAT statistic?
I'd check your source - truth be known, you can say anything in an article, it doesn't have to be true. Look at the supermarket tabloids!!
And, you can screw around with statistics, and get them to "prove" pretty much anything you want them to by faking data and deleting data that doesn't prove your thesis.
I think you got a hold of some " faulty" data.

Because they are selfish possibly. I have been married for almost 11 yrs and not once have I cheated on my husband. I know many women who have been married for yrs and have never cheated. What really eats me id the women who cheat on their military hubbys who are off serving their country!!! THese guys are making HUGE sacrifices, why can't they go with out $ex for the duration???
