Temperance...
It is like an expensive designer, silk dress shirt... It looks great with everything, no matter what you pair it with, and when you have it, everyone wants to know who you are and be just like you for it. Take it off... and you look just like everyone else. Common and bare.
I believe it is the greatest quality a man can possess and use in every instance of his life...

One word - Respect.
Respect your elders. Respect your parents. Respect women. Respect children. Respect the law. Respect animals. Respect the rights of others. Respect the beliefs of others
And, oddly, you will do all these things with relative ease, if you truly respect yourself.
