I am looking for ideas to do with my 3 year old with the plastic milk cap lids. If any one has any ideas please let me know.

Print out pictures of animals from the computer,hopefully in color and about 2" square. Print multiples of each animal and make Bingo cards with 25 pictures on each card and arranged in a different way on each card. Use the milk caps as markers for Bingo. Instead of just calling out the name of the animal,Hold up a full size version of the pictures on the card as you say the name and have the child lay the marker on top. He can learn animal names this way and depending on what other kind of pictures you are able to find, you can teach quite a few things this way.

Get some magnets and glue. Glue magnets on the back of the lid.
Then have them go in the yard and collect small rocks and sticks. Glue them inside and put on the refrigerator.
Or buy craft items Puff balls, sand etc and use them.
You can also make potpourri jars out of baby food jars. Remove labels, fill with colored sand or potpourri and put netting over the top. Put lid back on if sand.

Teach the letter y. Yo-yo.
You'll need glue, construction paper, plastic milk cap, 1foot of Yarn.
Glue the milk cap down on the paper,
tie a ring on one end of the yarn
glue the yarn down around the milk cap....kind of like you'd wind a yo-yo.
Write yo-yo on the paper.

They are too small for a 3 year old to play with. They are a choking hazard. Be very careful and find something larger for him/her to do activities with.

my little sister used to like the caps that pull off. she used them as tittly-winks. the screw on caps are fun to shoot around on a solid floor and don't do much if any damage. When i was young, i used the twist-offs for parts of the G.I Joe headquarters.

Your three year old could choke on those. You should find something larger for him to play with.
