The answer is 'both and neither'. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If, on the other hand you meant to ask which was the more stylish .............. I have to be down with Tetchy Old Git, who nails it fairly well. I can't imagine many French girls thinking it remotely on trend to have their post pregnancy stretch-marked and tattooed belly, in it's puckered up and deflated state, hanging over their jeans with a tiddly little crop top perched just beneath their sagging boobs. But this is council estate chic in England.

It's all down to one's taste, but if pushed I would say, in general that the English woman is much more attractive overall than the French woman.

English girls have their guts spilling out over the tops of their jeans. Bizarrely, they must think it's something that makes them look attractive, because they wear clothes to show off the fact that they're overweight.
No French girl would commit such an awful fashion crime, even if they were overweight, which they rarely are.

It seems an absolute myth to me that the French are more stylish and beautiful. I think that there are more attractive Swedish or Russian girls, possibly followed by Australian and Americans.

It, the ANSWER, is subjectively in the eye of the beholder.
French girls do seem to have 'some - THING' about the way they dress that brings along the word 'Chic' in tow with them.
