I have had absolutely no problems at all on the depo shot. It got rid of my cramps and everything. I have never felt better.

The depo shot is progestin only. It does not have estrogen. If you have problems with the depo, try switching to BC with estrogen in it. It's perfectly safe to take the BC now, even though there is still depo in your system. (I know from personal experience. I had some breakthrough bleeding, so OB.GYN gave me BC w/ lots of estrogen in it to take so I wouldn't have bleeding during my wedding!)
