I lost my best friend due to a misunderstanding. He's taking it way out of content. He asked me to leave him alone, then we saw eachother in the club the next night, and he didn't even speak. I sent him a letter expressing myself deeper than I ever have before. I know that he received it, but he didn't respond. He knows that I love him and there's nothing I'd ever do to hurt him, so why is he acting like this. I need to know what other steps I can take to get him back. It's only been 3 days, but I miss him dearly. Life's not the same without him.

if he doesnt take the time to forgive you and your putting all the effort, maybe he really isnt a friend?? just a thought.

It's not the end of the world but if he's still not speaking to you, for now you should give him some space and let him come around on his own time. If you crowd him or keep bugging him, you'll eventually start to get on his nerves. Give him space/time and let whatever wounds he's endured take time to heal. If he's that special of a friend, he'll come around soon. Just don't rush him. After about a week, confront him again to see what his attitude is by then.

I would suggest doing exactly as he asked u..........leave him alone. Give him time to process his feelings and take a deeper look at the situation. Sometimes trying to force something before it is time makes things worse. Give him some room, and then u take a long hard look at the situation yourself. You said he's taking it way out of content; but has it occurred to you that maybe he feels justified with his feelings? and he's entitled to them be they right or wrong; they're his feelings and he has the right to them.......................Maybe this time apart will help u both......

If he even couldn't forgive you then he is not a generous man. Don't bother to want him back, girl. If your future is with him, then you will always need to watch out your actions and always affraid of hurting him.
