My daughter did mine. It has a silver Indian feather, a couple of antique rhinestone buttons and a little peace sign on the end. She does them so well they stay in for good. It's in my own hair, not a clip-on! Why would they be disgusting if it gets washed with the rest of my hair??? Are we talking about hair wraps or dreadlocks?

It's in back to one side & doesn't show unless I want it to, and it can be put up with the rest of my hair. It is strong and isn't going anywhere, even when I forget it's there and brush over it! OUCHH! She must do a really good job! It only took her about 20 minutes.

I have never done one...it probably would not last long in my hair though! I am always messing with my hair throughout the day, parting it on different sides and putting it up and down. ☺

About 7 hours, it's really hard because they keep slipping off, I have to use hair slides to keep them in! Also, they're annoying because you go to tuck your hair behind your ear (out of habit) and find you can't!
But at least they look nice ;-) !!

i had one all summer when i was little so about seven weeks or so
it was totally discusting and I recomend never doing it again
