I'm real sorry to hear.....been through it. We've been here for 12 yrs. and this early summer we were invaded for the first time with the little critters. We were lucky we had two tom cats....the fellows killed them and brought them to us....yuk. Had to look them up to find out what in the world they were. I've talked to friends who had the problem and found several solutions....... None very humane but worked for them and no pesticides. One, a stick of spearmint gum down the burrow. They chew it and can't digest. Two, auto exhaust. Pipe from muffler to burrow hole. Three, ask your county for live traps and suggestions for bait.

Good Luck

Use a mole trap. It has a spring loaded pitchfork and a triggering paddle. You find a tunnel and press down its top. Then you pull back the trigger on the mole trap and push it into ground so the paddle is over the tunnel that is squashed. When the mole comes by in the early morning and pushes the tunnel top up then the trigger snaps and the mole is speared. You pull the tap up and the mole remains in the ground dead.

I presume you mean the animal variety and not the ones on your body!
Well I think you should borrow 'The Hun' - he's my black cat and he will remove all signs of unwanted creatures/wildlife in no time at all. We had mole hills everywhere but The Hun soon sorted them out. He is also very good at clearing rats and mice ( we live in a rural area.)

For hire: The Hun...pest control officer (rural office). No charge, but keep your hands in your pockets - he's a real killer.

Trap the little buggers. There are many different ideas about dealing with moles but trapping is by far more effective.

Best done at night

Tools needed:
1 Office swivel chair
1 miners helmet (or headband affixed torch) *
1 12 bore shotgun

* If head mounted torch not available, use masking tape to fix torch to the gun barrel.

Place chair in the middle of the problem area and rotate round slowly using the torch to sight the offending mole, then blow its head off.

NB. not advisable in a coastal garden in case you are seen as a menace to local shipping lanes.

Moles are peace lovers, they hate loud music. You can play load music on or around their layer and they will move out, but I think you should colonize them and make a study! Also you must have grubs because that is their favorite food source. You could teach them to do tricks and sell tickets too!
peace!

I wouldn't recommend putting pesticides on your skin, anyway. Try Olay regenervating pH-neutral moisturising cleansing pads, and stay out of strong sunlight.

If you mean the animal mole then you can get an ultrasonic device you push into the ground.

Go to your local hair salon and ask for some cuttings from the floor. Moles use smell as they are almost completely blind. Put the hair cuttings down the mole holes and it will detract them away from your garden.
