I prefer emailing because being that I work afternoon till about 10 pm, I am tired when I get home and have to eat, take a bath, read mail, etc and I find it easier to email back and forth than to drag a telephone around while I am trying to do stuff. I can get alot done while I am emailing whereas if I am on the phone, I canl't really do anything else but talk and listen. That's find when I have the time but not when I have a lot to do.

E-mailing because you can cover a lot of ground that way and send a message to gobs of people all at once whereas if you have to call someone then it can be time consuming especially when you have no capacity for being on the phone for hours on end!

If all you need to deliver is short messages, then email definitely. But I enjoy hearing people's voices and talking on the phone to someone special still feels lots more intimate. Plus since you can't catch sarcasm or other inflections on line sometimes email can be misunderstood and feelings hurt because things come across harsher.

instant messaging.

It's like a phonecall where you can stay on the line for ages and also put them on hold for hours when you need to go do something.
Like emailing really.. but less impersonal. You can make it fun and express yourself well with the smilies and stuff, but you don't need to have it well structured like a email. It's got a good flow like a real conversation. Emailing is weird imo.

I would rather talk on the phone. My typing skills are not fast enough to e-mail at any great speed

emailing,4 sure.that way i can keep in touch, but not endure 4 hours of"like, then he said bla bla,and i was, like, omigosh, and she said really, and we were all like, thats sooooo messed uP!" i love my friends, but they have a bad habit of rambling on,and there are times i want to say hi,but not much more-everyone needs some rest and relaxation!

emailing, just don't want to be bothered at times and can dialogue better with no interruptions, now whether they listen that is an altogether different thing.
