My opinion is, she feel that her personal life is none of our business. As long as she does her job. And so far I think she is doing a great job.

I've heard several people who know her or know someone who knows her say she IS gay, and that this puts her in an awkward position. They did not mean it as a slur. I think it's disturbing that there are people who still consider being gay a shameful secret. If there were rumors about her being American Indian, no one would think it was an insult--it would just be considered an interesting detail.
As for protecting her privacy in general, well: her administration does not seem to care much for the privacy of others. From illegal wiretapping to directly meddling in the personal lives of gay people by trying to put anti-marriage measures into the constitution (not to mention the whole abortion issue), I say the private lives of that entire administration should be fair game, until they stop messing with ours.

I don't know if Condi has a boyfriend but I know she is not gay. Where is the reasoning that not being in a relationship makes one gay or straight? Lots of people are secure enough to have a very fulfilling life being single. I, for one and many of my friends are single, carefree, independent, happy and none of us are gay.

Be it man or woman no one wants her, so it really doesn't matter. She's too arrogant and into herself. Anyone holding her position who goes out and buys 1000. dollar shoes at the VERY moment citizens were dying and needed help in Louisiana is without a conscience. I hope she's alone with her expensive shoes the rest of her life!
