Double space is when you put two spaces between each sentance instead of one. you can double space by going to format on microsoft word then going to paragraph find where it says spacing an change it from singl to double spacing. (before you do that though highlight anything you want spaced then after changing to double space click your mouse off the highlight.you should have your lines double spaced)!

In Word...go to FOrmat then Paragraph...and Spacing = Double! It puts two spaces in between each line.

Just that: double space. It was an old program used by DOS to compress files so it would seem you have more harddrive space available to you. Downside was that programs ran slower and harddisk recovery (in case of a failure) was a heck of a lot harder.

In what context? To me, it means an extra blank line between lines of text, to make it easier to read. This is single spaced.

or type line skip line you could set your computer to do that.
