What a great idea!! I think Warner Bros were mad to cancel it and there are a load of fans out there who miss it a lot.
Maybe we should set up a petition?

I don't know whether he will do a movie in the near future what with his current movie projects in the pipe line and his ongoing comic resposibilities. He's currently writing Astonish Xmen and will take over from Brian K Vaughn the Runaways series and on top of that he is actually writing a new Buffy Comic series that will start from where he left off in the tv series.
I would really love to see Angel Continued or resolved somehow. Perhaps the events in angel get so big that Buffy is drawn into that battle too.
I often thought that in the opening scene of the season Six episode of Angel, an army of slayers would all burst onto the scene of battle aiding angels little troup of survivors. That would be cool.

There were actually three television movies being planned on the Buffy/Angel 'verse, one focussed on Spike (which was the most well-known), but also one about Faith and one about Willow.
Whedon and the studio apparently couldn't come to financial terms, so as of June 2006 the movies are no longer being planned.

In recent interviews Whedon and Amy Acker provide more information about the previously planned movies.

Sarah Michelle Gellar has - by her own words and Joss's words - "moved on". SMG is finally getting her big screen career, and that is what she wanted when she quit Buffy. David Boreanaz had previously said (and probably still holds to) that he would not reprise "Angel" except on the big screen (note to David - that's not going to happen). And James Marsters has said he would do one within 5 years of the end of Angel, but thought he would age too much to make a believable go as an immortal after that.
I suppose there is always a chance that this can be revisited, but I don't think it is likely.
In a more direct answer to your question, I would love to see one.

There already is a Buffy The Vampire Slayer Movie. Joss Wheedon wrote it, I think, but the studio thought it should be a comedy rather than a serious "teen movie" and Wheedon walked.
I think the reason there is no more Buffy is 'cos the franchise wore really thin at the end. Let it go. If they made more, they would only dissapoint you.

Angel definitely deserves a movie o put the characters to rest decently. I think all the fans were cheated with that sucky ending and deserved better.
Buffy ended well, though.

There should have been a movie - between the pair of them there was more than enough storylines. I don't think a new series would work now.
I still can't beleive the ending of Angel!! I think that Joss just wanted to get a dragon in there somehow

I would love to see Angel come back either as a series or a movie; but it'll probably be hard to get David Boreanaz now that Bones has been picked up for a second season.

Buffy ended this pretty complete. Angle could go on though and could use a movie.
For a spin off I'd love to see a SPIKE-centered show!!

I think Buffy rounded itself up quite well, but Angel could do with some explaining! Damn sudo-cliff-hanger ending! No movie though, it would suck a lot.
