Yeah, and you've seen all kinds of other movies too, how much of what you've seen in movies is reality. Marriage isn't the easiest thing in the world, but when it's right, it makes a person complete. The marriage bond is a wonderful thing, some might say, the best thing, it is for me.

There is the whole "hard work" sentiment and "you get what you put in" but don't these sound oddly similar to work behavior!?! Do you want another job? It's one more job of a social nature-because that is exactly what it is. Marriage is a social construct substituted as a psychological "crutch" to fill that inevitable loneliness that we all suffer from. Don't buy into the Christian-Judeo propaganda. Good Luck. Enjoy being single-which is synonymous with freedom and choice.

Marriage is a lot of responsibility and it takes two responsible people to make it work. I will not say all marriage is good or bad. It really depends on you and your spouse. And if you are going to take movies seriously, stopped watching them.

Yes I am! Marriage isn't bad it is the commitment part that most part that most people have a problem with. You have to have your mind made up that that lady is going to be the only love of your life. Out of that then comes relationship trust and honest friendship.

When you are in a relationship with somebody longer than 2 years (or the time needed to get know what the other one is thinking for the relationship you have) and you have very much incommon with him/her, you just WANT to get marry. Otherwise the feeling is very strange, and you're right, it feels like fear, insecurity, tension, suspense in the soul...I know the both states.

If you're relying on movies to tell you whether or not marriage is something to be afraid of, then you're not ready for marriage.

I'm happily married and would love to share my story with you but I think it would be a waste of time.

It's a lot of work and will work if you BOTH work at it. If both of you do not give 100% then it will never last. You have to make sure you have chosen the right partner in life before marrying him/her.

Not all marriages are bad... it is what the 2 people make it...if you really are in love with this person and they are truly in love with you and you feel you don't want anyone else..then why not???

Marriage is as good or bad as you choose to make it. It's a hell of a lot of work with a hell of a lot of rewards if both are willing to put the work into it.
