Hi, I'd like to know if you know the titles of any ancient myths about a hero who is an underdog (ex: someone weak, poor, etc. rising to glory, fame, or heroism)

Thanks so much! :)

In the Norse mythology, three "Vaner" (beings of the of the kind rivaling to the primary gods the "Aser") were given by the Vaner to the Aser as part of a truce. The three Vaner, being of a 'lesser' kind, ought to have been slaves to the Aser, but instead they all rose to be great gods.
The three were Njord and his son Frey (or Frej) and daughter Freya (or Freja).
Njord became god of the seas and god of fishing (an important god, since there is lots of coastline everywhere in Scandinavia).
Frey became god of agriculture and god of fertility.
Freya became the most powerful of the three. She was goddess of love and lust. She also was leader of the Valkyrie, a group of godlike women who went to the battlefields after the battle was over and lead the dead warriors to Valhalla (hall of the gods). Half the slain were given to Odin (the lead god), and the other half were kept by Freya as a lifeguard and for fulfilling her needs.

Cu Chulainn, sort of, I guess. (born Setanta, adopted by the King, getting into trouble, but always redeeming himself) There really aren't that many . Hercules (son of a God, then adopted, raised poor then rose to fame and fortune.) All the ones I can think of had a really positive thing on their side before the tragedy strikes.

a narrative that incoporates it self with each and everyday life or a undemanding occurence. is composed of modern-day structures or activities. Follows a paranormally logical rationalization in direction of a type of scenario? i do no longer pay attention of too many modern-day myths so that is in all probability the excellent i will grant.

the Norse myths revolve around their warrior religion. I don't think there are any about the weaklings.
