Check and see if your heater hoses are getting hot. If the hose isn't getting hot check your coolant level, make sure your truck gets up to operating temperature. If your truck gets hot when it is idling but rapidly cools when you accelerate check the water pump. Some times the impeller blades rust away and the pump won't pump enough coolant to operate the the heater. You may have a heater control valve on your truck if it has one it could be stuck shut. It would be in line in one of the heater hoses and is aether cable or vacuum operated if it has one make sure it is working. If your heater hoses are hot you may have a mode control door under the dash that switches the airflow so it doesn't go through the heater core.
