I planted them four years ago, and they bloomed the first couple of years, but last year and this they have only had a couple of blooms. They are HUGE plants, and seem to be thriving, but no flowers....

Try cutting the plants back to about 12 inches and don't fertilize them. Next year cut the blooms back in June and July and then let them come out in August and September.
Sometimes you just need to shock the plants a little to get them to cooperate!!

Sounds like there may be too much nitrogen in the soil thus they are putting all their energy into green growth.
Try a fertilizer with a higher middle number early next spring and also, do not be afraid to cut back some of the early growth next spring, this will not only make for a shorter bushier plant, but also more tips for flowers to develop on.

Mums need to be deadheaded to produce more flowers.

Did you deadhead them? (pinch off the dead blooms and some of the living ones?)

They will also need to be cut back to 6-8" late fall or early spring (depending on your climate)
