most atm scams involve creating a fake keypad panel with a hidden camera to record the pin number, and a card reader to log all of the details on the card.
with this information a blank card can then have all the details written to it (essentially cloning the original card) and because they have the pin number too they can just pop it this cloned card into an atm, enter the pin, then empty the account.
you can't 'hack' an atm machine, unsurprisingly there is no magic combination of buttons you can press to make the machine throw out cash that doesn't belong to you.

It takes days and sometimes weeks. the way to hack an ATM is not by standing there in the rain pressing numbers but back at home with a link to the bank's head office computer system, find the IP address of the ATM and there you go. I guess (FBI about to hammer on my door!!) that it would be possible to post a fake software upgrade to the ATM so that when your friend takes money out it (1) gives her thousands and (2) deletes the record of who got it.... Aaaaggh don't put your nightstick there officer, oooh all right then.

I think by Hacking the mean he put a card reader in the machine so anyones card that goes in is recorded, and he just needs to see the pin. If possible always use inside ATM's

I got my already programmed and blanked ATM card to withdraw the maximum of $1000 daily for a maximum of 20 days. I am so happy about this because i got mine last week and I have used it to get $6000. Fred is giving out the card just to help the poor and needy though it is illegal but it is something nice and she is not like other scam pretending to have the ATM cards. You dont....reason being:
1. They are monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
2. They have a crazy amount of encryption just on the machine.
3. They are on their own network which in itself is a pain to get into...
so overall as for hacking one....you just dont...it's really not worth it and they really dont have that much cash on them anyways....

It is completely useless to bother trying to hack an ATM. What will you use it for. They are monitored 24/7 (usually) and their encryption is high, so it will be difficult.
