About once every two months...you know, when you look at a leftover and say, "Okay, I think we need to throw out the container, too." Or this dialogue takes place
You empty it.
No! I ain't touching it! YOU do it!
No way! I don't even know what's IN that thing!
Well it's swelling.
Well YOU do it!
No way! YOU do it.
*tongs are produced* Um, okay, let's just chuck the tupperware too, I mean, we can ALWAYS buy more, right?

Not nearly as often as I should - usually right before I'm going to have house guests, 2-3 times a year. Beyond that, I just toss the old food out weekly and give it a quick wipe if something has been spilled.

In my personal view it should be thoroughly cleaned at least once a month You check weekly the contents to
make sure that there is nothing in the fridge that is out of date or not actually fit for Human consumption.
When restocking your fridge always bring items already
in there to the front so that they get used first

Every once in a while it occurs to me that I can't remember when I last cleaned it; then I get embarrassed and clean it.... within a few days.
- Or when I'm expecting a visit from my mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, or my husbands extremely cleanliness-concerned sister.

you're an extremely organised guy Mr Bateman. even whilst it is composed of taking away undesirable bodies, you have all of it the way down to an excellent paintings. Now if in trouble-free terms you may ditch Huey Lewis and the information you may rather be a state-of-the-paintings guy.

A small clening weekly and a big time one monthly.
I hate a messy refrigerator ... it's soo unhealthy.
