I know a kid who has five regular full sized fingers (not counting the thumb), on one hand. He has the normal four fingers and a thumb on the other hand.

Well I have heard that we only have four fingers on each hand...and that our thumbs are not considered fingers. Just what I've heard though.

sixteen, not calling the two thumbs and two toes as fingers, and not looking at exceptions of rare few who have an extra growth at any or all of the sides of small fingers !
