Do Employers have the right to swear and yell at there employees? Also can they threaten with " If you play games Ill make life hard for you. This was said to my b/f by his boss, the owner of the company. Any help or legal advise?

The reason why they continue to do such things is no one has the balls to report them, tell your boyfriend to record him doing it,and then let his boss hear how he cheats his employee's, Sometimes people don't realize how or what there saying unless you bring it to their attention

Ohio is an at-will employment State. Your b/f can be terminated for no cause whatsoever and there is no recourse unless he has a specific contract (ie. executive or union) or is being singled out for reasons that the EEOC would object to (race, religion, age etc.).

tell your boyfriend to stop being such a pus.sy, knuckle down and maybe get somewhere other than being shouted at. if you can take your boss to court because he shouts, swears, and threatens to make life difficult because you're playing games then i don't know what this world's coming to

That is illegal...and there are things that can be done....talk to an attorney....and your b/f might start looking for another job.
