Why does the Left always use class warfare and poverty issues in its campaigns? Nothing the Left does helps the poor in America more than whatever the Right does. The Left thinks that the only people in America who are poor are minorities, so they start "affirmative action" and then claim that it helps the "poor", while forgetting entirely that there are poor White as well. The Left wants to give welfare to those who dont even really need it instead of encouraging those who can work, to work, in attempt to make more money than what a welfare check brings. The Left thinks that the Right is some super elite organization, Thanks for the praise, but it simply isnt true. I believe the Left is using class warfare without really caring about the poor. The Left is using it to retaliate against Whites with affirmative action and welfare that supports minorites who can work.

"oops about last night" seems to have not paid enough attention before answering the question. It was already mentioned that there were poor Whites and poor people in America - that she must have forgotten. Second, the fact that America is seen as the wealthiest and blah blah is just off topic, it doesnt answer the question at all, nor does it explain how the Left helps poor. Im sure she wants to give welfare to those who are able to work but are too lazy.

but i'll give it a shot..
Poverty is IMPORTANT to EVERYONE. This country is portrayed as the richest in the world.. yet we have homeless, poor starving people, and a horrible FEMA system.
