when i plug in my ipod nano, it charges but doesnt show up in itunes, how can i fix this problem?

Maybe it was already connected to another computer. If it asks that question you have to allow it to reset and connect to your computer. Or maybe you have a japanese one like me then we have the same problem. Is the wheel tuch sensitive, if not its japanese.

try unplugging it and holding down the menu and middle buttons together for approximately 5-6 seconds, that reboots the hard drive and fixes most problems. Then while its switched off plug it in again.
