Oddly enough, infant Anbesol cherry flavor removes Sharpie permanent pen marker. Don't know why. you might want to ask a friend with a baby to lend you a bit so you can test it.

try those magic erasers, or paint over the marker

Try Lyson spray, it has worked on painted wood tables and hardwood floors.

If the magic eraser doesn't work, you can try lightly sanding it.
