Nah, same thing is happening with my year old. She apparently found out that she has teeth and she just likes the feeling..Give her about 2 weeks at the most..She will stop...I promise.. If after 2 -3 weeks, she doesn't stop...just make a routine call to the Dr. and just casually mention it . Usually they forget and go on. My daughter has already stopped after 2 weeks of making me get cramps in my neck due to tensing up when she does it. LOL
Take care...

I purely want to assert congrats on being a single discern! I actual have acquaintances that are single father and mom and that i will in basic terms think of how plenty extra sturdy it is to enhance a baby on your guy or woman. to respond to your question, it is typical. My 14 mth previous daughter grinds her enamel now and back and in the previous she became right into a three hundred and sixty 5 days previous she did it each day. I study somewheres that it has to do with teething, from the rigidity on the gums from the enamel coming by using. Grinding his enamel relieves the rigidity on his gums. i don't understand any information from combating the grinding, not something labored with my daughter. She purely outgrew it.

My son did that too, I took him to my dentist (even that young) and they didn't seem concerned. They said to keep an eye on it, and if he continued to do it as he got older, they could deal with it then (when he is old enough to sleep with a mouth guard).

He outgrew it so we never had to do anything about it.

No. Teeth are new to babies, they make a neat noise if you do it just right. He/She will stop when they get bored with this new experience.

My daughter used to do that. She outgrew it...(and she has beautiful teeth)... so don't fret about it, I think they do that to get used to their teeth.
