It wasn't scary but I was in my bed room and was looking in the mirror and saw my mom in her night gown and robe walk from her room down the hall in to the living room. I turned around and went to talk to her and she was in her. As I walked in the hall I heard a noise from be hind me. She was not in the living room, no one was. She was in her bed room in jeans and a t-shirt and shoes. So who did I follow down the hall?
I have no clue.
Other thing happened after that but it was mostly in dreams.
like floating above my bed and getting taken by ghosts. And It only happened when my bed was in a certain spot of the room. Along a certain wall. So I moved my bed and it never happened again. Go figure.

My boyfriend and I moved into our first place together and were super pumped (you know young and in love). We lived in a townhouse and were on the very end so we had only one neighbor whose front door and steps were right beside ours. After a few days we finally met our new neighbors (alcoholic law students) and asked them if there was a reason they liked slamming their door and running up and down their stairs at 3 in the morning. They laughed and said thay had no idea what we were talking about and that we must be high. For the next couple of days I thought I was going crazy because I would lock the front door or put the dowl in the sliding glass door I then i'd come back and they would be unsecured. One night when Zack was at work I was watching t.v. and the channels started flipping with the remote lying on the table. I instinctivly pick up the remote and hit it thinking it might be stuck when that didn't work for some reason I yelled "stop!" and it did. From that moment on I became the target for 'her' pranks. There were multiple incidents but the first that anyboby believed was one of the creepiest. Once again I was alone in the house at night and I was getting ready to go out with my friends. I jumped in the shower and since I was alone in the house decided that singing Me and my Bobby McGee at the top of my lungs was a great idea. I was still on the first verse when the lights started to flicker. I paused for a moment and decided that it was nothing and went on waling. Appearantly, she didn't like this so she turned off the lights and fan. Since I was in the pitch dark all I could think to do was stick my head out of the shower curtain and say 'sorry, I'll stop' The lights came back on immediately and then fan switch slowly rasised back up by itself. I have never moved so fast in my entire life. I bolted out of the bathroom grabbing a towel on my way out and tried in vein to wrap it around my self as I stummbled down my stairs and out the front door. My neighbors front door was open so I ran inside to a house full of complete strangers. As soon as i crossed the threshold the lights flickered and tv started flipping through the channels. Turns out they were watching a pay per view fight and having a party and my neighbors hadn't made it back from the liquor store so I had to try to explain to this super hot guy why I was standing in Bill's livivng room in nothing more that a towel. I guessed she liked the bathroom because you were by youself (or she was just a voyeur) because she was always messing with people in there from that night on.

Tell me if this isn't weird. Back in 2000 I moved into the house I live in now. I had my first born son. I was mopping the living room floor when I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I scared the crap out of me. Bare in mind I was by myself int he house and it was daytime. I had my niece stay over one weekend and we where watching tv. She told me to look at the coffee table and my son's class picutre was moving he was three at this time. I thought that it was just a breeze but it wasn't. It happend a second time and my niece and I were scared stiff. One other occasion was when I was in bed I felt this icy cold sesantion going up and down my back like someone was running their finger on my back. Last but not least I was sitting on the sofa and my fiance was sitting on the coffee table. We were in the middle of a conversation when a cold breeze passed between us. He asked me if I had felt that and it was ice cold. Bare in mind no windows or doors were open! I have to wonder if my ex had anything to do with these experiences he had passed two years before only I didn't know it yet! Oh, I almost forgot a week after I found out that my grandfather passed away I saw him spiritually. I know it sounds crazy but I know what I saw. It started with a tickling sesantion in my ribs and I found myself half way off the bed, he was trying to get my attention. I saw the outline of his figure standing in the corner I knew it was him cause I know my grandfather. I went to a rosary for my grandfather it's what some people do to help the deceased go to the light after death. It's alot of prayers within a group(family memebers). The lady who led us throught these prayers has exprience in these types of situations she told me that he came to me fo forgiveness for what he did to my mom when she as young. And said that I was his way to the light with my forgiveness. I couldn't beleive it but he was right he never bothered me again. Rest in peace grandpop I love you. I miss you so much TB rest in peace lots of love always.. All of theses things I say are true life experienes.

This isn't a short story. When I was about 10 years old my grandparents moved into a small house in the suburbs. The previous owner had died of a heart attack while sitting at his dining room table. Although the house was always very sunny,it had that feeling to it.You know when you walk into a room or a place and you feel very uncomfortable, like you have goosebumps under your skin, and you want to just get the hell out of there?Anyway, the very first time I went into the place I felt very uncomfortable.I was with my cousin who was a few years older than me.I remember we both just sat in the kitchen, because the place made us feel so creeped out.The wife of the previous owner who had also died in the place had been an artist.Soon after moving in my grandmother had a strong desire to paint. She began painting and subsequently ended up showing and selling many of her paintings at shows. This was about the only good thing that ever came out of that house.
Within a year or two of moving in my great -grandmother who had also moved there ,developed cancer and died.A few years after that my grandfather got a massive heart attack and died instantly. This happened while he was sitting at his dining room table. We never knew if it was in exactly the same spot the previous owner had died in or not. After my grandfather died my grandmother decided to take a trip .While she was in her bedroom packing to leave, when she was suddenly compelled to go into the living room.Seconds later a huge tree outside her bedroom window fell on the house .It crashed through the window and part of the roof.If my grandmother had been standing in her room where she was a few minutes earlier she would have been seriously injured.Months later my grandmother was sitting in her living room .The house was all on one story and the living room faced the street. She got up to stir what she had been cooking on the stove. She hadn't even made halfway to the kitchen, when she heard a loud crash from behind her,and then a car horn blaring.Apparently a man had ,had a heart attack while driving in his car. This happened right in front of the house. He died instantly.lost control of the car,and it crashed through the living room. The car went right through the front of the house and the chair that my grandmother was sitting in ,had been right in its path.Had she not gotten up she would have been killed. Things always went missing in this house, and my grandmother's dog also got very sick and died after they moved in. No one ever saw anything physically manifest in the house like a ghost .But something was deffinitely there. My grandmother eventually moved out of the house, she didn't want to stay there anymore.Like I said the house gave you the most uncomfortable feeling when you went ther and you couldn't wait to leave.

When I was five I heard a voice talking to me in my house when I was by myself. He asked me if I could do something for him. So I did. He asked me to call someone on the phone. This was hard for me because I was very small and didn't know how. What made it worse was it was a rotary phone.I had to stand on a chair to do it. I dialed the numbers one by one as he had told me where to put my finger and turn the dial. Then I could hear it connect and someone answered it. I held the phone out for him even though I couldn't see him.I said:"here" then he said I would have to talk to him for him. He than told me to ask for Bobbie so I did. He told me what to say to him so I did also. I said to Bobbie on the phone and laughed that he had a funny voice too. He told me to tell him to keep that bastard Onassis away from his Jackie. He told me to say; "You must stop the war, over 58 thousand soldiers will die in the war" My dad came out of his bedroom and really mad that I was on the phone. He spoke to him telling him that I was trying to call my friend Bobbie. When the phone bill came my Dad asked me several times how I was going to pay for it. It was over $13.00 and back then that was a lot of money. I had told him to go away because he was bothering me and made my dad mad. It was bizarre. People from the government came to the house to talk to me about the ghost of the man with two names; Jack or John. There were other details but it's already been hard enough to remember what I had. I had told a friend of mine and all she did was laugh at me and tell me to see a shrink or go into the hospital. Ofcourse now it does sound delusional but back in 1963 it wasn't.

My mother's elementary school was built next to a spring where Native Americans had lived. When she was in the first grade, she and her friends were playing hide and seek. She went to hide behind a small shed next to the school. The shed had a small easement between the floor of the building and the ground. As she tried to scoot into the easement, she heard something behind her. She turned to see a large. dark haired man dressed in odd clothes. He reached over to touch her shoulder and she felt a jolt of cold so electric that it knocked her out.
They found her unconscious behind the shed about an hour later. She was confused and kept talking about the "big man." They assumed she had hit her head.
Years later, she was taking an area history class in college where the they showed her photographs of the original settlers meeting with the Native Americans. In one of the photos, she saw the big, dark haired man who had touched her shoulder. The settlers were preparing him for the Trail of Tears.
He was the gentle local chief of the tribe who had lived in the valley where she went to school. He was holding the hand of his daughter, who looked to be about 6 years old. He and his daughter had resisted the settlers, and been murdered over a hundred years beforehand.

when i was a kid,
we moved into this house and the first night we slept in it, i woke up telling my sister to stop saying my name, and she said that it wasn't her and to go to sleep. I kept hearing this voice saying "cortnee, Cortnee. help me please, i need your help"
and i kept telling my sister to shut up and she kept saying it wasn't her, so i sat up and over by my closet was this little girl, she had curly hair, almost like ringlets, a nightgown on that looks really old fashioned, and she had a teddy bear with one eye ripped off it.
Everyday This kid thing would wake me up and it got freaky after a while. My mom had to move me out of that room into her old room.Because the ghost or whatever started scaring me.
My mom has a few stories too about that house. It was pretty screwed up there.

I have 3.
The first is kind of creepy. My mom had just bought me a new canopy bed, you know one of those tall, pink frilly ones? I didn't like it because I was afraid of the dark and there was a big dark place directly beneath me where anything could be hiding. It wasn't so bad until one night I felt like something was watching me. I was paralyzed, couldn't move barely breathe...then something crawled on the bed and curled up by my side. It felt like a little kid, but it still scared the hell out of me. I lay there until I dropped off to sleep. After that I got into the habit of tucking the covers under my feet and not moving. Then, not only would the 'child' curl up by my side, but an animal, maybe dog or cat, would curl up between my feet.
There is more to that canopy though. My second story...One night I had this horrible dream that felt really real, I was driving a car and turned to the ?man? (couldn't see him, he was in shadows) sitting in the passenger seat. I remember feeling scared, and there was menacing energy coming from the man. Then I remember crashing into the viaducts under a bridge. It was a month later, (having these dreams once a week) that my father found a picture that looked like me and my younger brother. It was actually him and his older sister. She had died after mysteriously crashing into the viaducts under a bridge and no one knew what happened to her boyfriend whom had supposedly been with her at the time. My friends and I took the canopy off the bed and I never had the dreams again. Did I mention I was named after my aunt, played songs she made up AND I've never met her?
K, and for my last. (sorry this is so long!)
I was maybe 12 or 13. I think this was my first experience that I remember, I had a lot of barbies and used to set them up on my dresser. One morning I awoke to find them all turned toward me. I put them back and the next time they were the same. I put them in a box just underneath my bed and awoke to one of them STRANGLING ME well...It may have been only trying to hug me, but I put them all back in their box, in a toybox, underneath a lot of heavy things inside my closet, only to find them the next morning all sitting outside my closet door. Eventually I locked them all in my basement.
Also, my mom had a lot of experiences with me when I was a baby ie crib shaking crazily, distorted pictures ect. thanx for letting me ramble! ; >
