I'm sorry but don't listen to aly....don't use a 10 gal tank you could overheat your lizard. That tank size will allow the tank to be either hot or cool not both like you need, also do not use calci sand, it has a higher rate of impaction than play sand does and play sand won't changed the color of your lizard. My adult beardie has been on play sand for over a year and never has a problem with it. That being said, you don't ask us for what size of a tank that you want only full size, so I would say that you would need to build with a 4 to five foot long tank about 2 feet tall & 2 feet wide. Also keep in mind that you don't want any prey items escaping so the use of plexi glass is suggested instead of wire of some sort. You will also need to keep in mind that you want heat to stay trapped in the cage (but not too much).

first off do you even own a bearded dragon? and two how big is it? this will be good to know as you will need to have enough wood 2 build a big enough cage for him/her.
