I have been told that Asda nappies are made by huggies and Tesco's by Pampers. However, I've been advised to stick to the actual brands for newborn. Anyone tried both?

We used Huggies and Pampers the most, they seemed to have the best wetness protection.

We tried all kinds of generics, etc... you find out real fast.

For newborns, they don't fit right anyways the first couple of months, so anything will work, and you change newborns so often it's too expensive to keep name brand.

Honestly, I had so many "Gift" diapers, that we didn't end up using all our "newborn" sizes, my kids still use the leftovers for their dolls...

i use asda's nappies on my children.they re aged 2 and twins 7 months. so as you can see buying nappies for 3 is dear. so i tryed asda's george baby comfort dry.i thought that they would be crap.as my sons pees for wales and they don't leak at all. i have them better then pampers and huggies as i found they would leak if my twins done a runny number two.

I liked Huggies, the regular, not the supreme kind, my child was allergic.

I've found that the brand doesn't matter, it's how they work.

I prefer Pampers for newborns because of the little notch for a healing belly button. I only needed one pack of those, though.

I have, Asda's were rubbish but then I never like huggies eaither so that would make sense. I never tried Tesco but either way you can tell they're cheaper so don't bother. It's not worth the sore bottoms and leaky wee'd on clothes!
